The Warmur Pro Map
Being punctual, tidy and helpful matters.
But getting the best from your boiler or heat pump needs a proper understanding of how your heating system works.
That's why we're helping you find Warmur Pros.
Why system knowledge matters
Your boiler or heat pump is just one part of your heating system. Your radiators, pipework, pumps and controls all need to work together.
When they don't, you can end up with cold rooms, noisy pipes, poor performance and unnecessarily high heating bills.
Choosing an engineer who understands the whole system gives you a better starting point.
What makes someone a Warmur Pro?
Every Warmur Pro has completed Warmur Academy's Hydronics Unlocked training and passed an assessment covering heating system design and performance.
Warmur Pro is open to practising heating engineers who meet the programme's eligibility criteria, including working with a Gas Safe registered or MCS certified business.
We're just getting started
Warmur Pro is a brand-new programme, so you'll only find a handful of businesses on the map today.
Every listing represents an engineer who's demonstrated their system knowledge, met our eligibility criteria and chosen to be included.
As more engineers qualify and join, the map will grow.
Find a Warmur Pro near you
Use the map to find local businesses with an engineer who's earned Warmur Pro recognition.
Each listing includes business information and a link to their own website, so you can learn more about them and get in touch directly.
No middleman. No referral fees. You deal directly with the business you choose.
What does Warmur Pro tell you?
A Warmur Pro badge tells you that an engineer associated with the business has demonstrated their understanding of heating system design.
It's one more useful piece of information when choosing who to trust with your heating.
It doesn't guarantee workmanship or mean we've inspected their installations. We still recommend checking reviews, asking about previous work, confirming professional registrations and comparing quotes.
FAQs
How are The Heating Hub, Warmur and Warmur Academy connected?
The Heating Hub joined forces with Warmur in 2023. Together, we're helping homeowners make better decisions about their heating and energy use.
The Heating Hub provides independent advice, Warmur offers home energy tools and services, and Warmur Academy trains heating engineers to understand and get the best from heating systems.
Warmur Pro brings that knowledge into view, helping homeowners find engineers who've passed the Academy's assessment and met the programme's eligibility criteria.
Does passing an assessment make someone a good heating engineer?
Not on its own. Good engineers combine technical knowledge with practical experience and care. Warmur Pro recognises the knowledge part, something that's difficult to judge from reviews or photographs of previous jobs.
Are Warmur Pros recommended by The Heating Hub?
No. Warmur Pros qualify by meeting Warmur Academy's published criteria, including passing the Hydronics Unlocked assessment. We don't select businesses based on personal recommendations or commercial arrangements.
Has everyone at a Warmur Pro business passed the assessment?
Not necessarily. Warmur Pro recognition means at least one practising heating engineer associated with the business has qualified.
Does it cost anything to use the map?
No. You can browse the map and contact engineers for free. We don't charge referral fees or take a commission from your job.
