What is Checkatrade?
Checkatrade is a directory of domestic service providers, from heating engineers to carpenters, roofers to drainage contractors, who, by virtue of their membership, have agreed to be vetted to a very high standard. In the first instance checkatrade will verify the correct insurance, qualifications and professional memberships are in place. Assuming this criteria is met, all members must then agree to be monitored on an ongoing basis by collecting feedback directly from their customers. Over time each member will build up a profile of themselves via the feedback left from their customers, which will in turn inform prospective new customers of their reputation.
How does it work?
1. We notify our customers that we are a member of Checkatrade and they have the opportunity to leave feedback on our services.
2. If we carry out the work, customers can leave feedback either on line (go to www.checkatrade.com/givefeedback and enter our membership number: 217173) or via a feedback card that can be posted back.
3. Customers are asked to rate out of ten various aspects of our service, including punctuality and workmanship.
